Solar Charge Up

Just imagine that you are lonely and on a weeklong (maybe more) camping trip in the middle of nowhere and you have a satellite radio which has run out of battery. You have no other spare batteries and probably bored to death. Suppose you have a ‘magic’ charger which can charge any electronic device in your backpack. Just like Captain Planets, this ‘magic’ charger gets its energy from the sun.
Solar technology from UK has come up with Freeloader which is a charger powered by the sun. It can power all types of electronic devices. Freeloader is fitted with foldable solar panels which charge an internal battery. It takes 5 hours to fully charge the internal battery. Once the internal battery is full charged, it can charge an iPod for 18 hours, a mobile phone for 44 hours and so on. This would be an ideal and a ‘must-have’ device if you are planning on going on any trip.
Freeloader can also be charged conventionally through the USB port. It has been priced at 30 pounds.
