“Don’t count your chickens before they hatch” – this Aesop’s saying is still evergreen and to an extent very true. We all are guilty sometimes of thinking a lot about our future in the name of planning. I enjoy thinking about my future (as well). I know where I want to go for my honeymoon and it was decided even before I met my dream girl.

Dal lake is a dream destination for all those who know about it. I intend to introduce the most beautiful lake in Asia and the place where I would head soon after I get married. This lake is surrounded by the Himalayas on three sides and beautiful gardens have been laid out along the shores. The view of the mountains is breathtaking and the water has a placid semblance.

The peerless feature of Dal lake is the house boats. Tourists can rent house boats and reside in it amidst serenity and tranquil atmosphere. Each house boat is uniquely decorated in Indian style. There are vendors on paddle boats who sell eateries, drinks, gift items etc. Staying on water sounds exciting and the gentle motion of the boat as I imagine should be incredibly romantic.
