Who said that movies cannot be a great source of inspiration for scientists? An Israeli optics company has taken a concept from a movie and has made it into a reality. Remember those glasses that Ethan Hunt uses which self destructs after five seconds in the movie ‘Mission Impossible’. Well, those glasses are a reality now.
Lumus has designed video glasses which give the excitement of a big screen TV. These glasses are light weighted and they use the technology of reflecting images directly into the eye’s line of sight from a light guide optical element which sits on the frame.
