It seems like Japanese have a crunch for space in their apartment buildings. There must be a serious consideration of converting the bathroom into a bedroom or a living area. The latest space saving invention is a portable toilet made of wood.

Toto, a bathroom accessories giant has introduced a portable toilet which weighs around 20 kilos and is fitted with a water butt cleaner. The force of water could be adjusted through the valves provided. The discarded waste accumulates in a bin (or a drawer) which needs to be discarded after every use.

This portable toilet sounds like a great idea for campers who hate to sit on a ledge for the nature’s call. This surely would be an innovative addition for camping freaks.
