Lonely Planet: Travel Video Sharing Website
I had written about Travelistic, a video sharing website for travelers last month. I stumbled upon yet another similar website called Lonely Planet. It looks as though people are recognizing that one of the best ways to promote tourism is by showing off videos. The best way to have a big repository of videos is by allowing users to share their home videos.
Lonely Planet is just like any other video sharing website with a soothing design and embedded with a map that locates videos. All the videos are sorted into channels and there are presently six different channels.
The collection is still small which is understandable for a new website. Gaining popularity among tourists is the key for Lonely Planet’s success.
