Best Friend under the Sun
This blog post is not a cover of the Bryan Adams’ Brothers under the Sun. Let me be a quizmaster here. When the sun is above my head, what would I need the most? Some smart people would say “take rest” but I was looking for a materialistic answer. Water would be my first preference when I am in the sun usually when I am hiking or camping. I want to give a brief about my latest friend and somebody who comes along with me on all my hiking and camping trips, the Camelbak mule.
This backpack has been with me on all my recent trips to the mountains. While my chilled water stays cold for quite a long time, I can store two sets of my clothes, couple books and most importantly my PSP and 60Gig video iPod. My camping necessities slip inside my backpack like a glove.
Here are some features provided by the manufacturer:
• Dynamic Suspension harness maximizes load stability
• Air Director backpanel delivers advanced ventilation
• Easy to access, weather resistant MP3 pocket
• Durable splash guard protects pack from mud and abrasion
• Removable waist belt
• Reflectivity on harness and pack increase low light visibility
Camelbak Mule is available in red color only. It is priced at $50 at Ramsey Outdoor. It is a good buy and more importantly an outdoor necessity.
