We have had social networking sites for different sections of the society. We have one for students, one for young chaps; well my list can go on. But, I found a new social networking website today which connects business travelers. PairUp in its beta stage helps business travelers find contacts in their destination cities and events.

When you are going on a business travel, enter the city you are visiting and PairUp searches all your contacts in your destination city and it presents a list of contact before you. It can also pull up contacts in a specific conference or an event. In turn, you are asked to enter your contact details and other people who you trust.

It’s a great idea of a social networking website but if the same model is extended to other tourists, it could help tourists find new friends and kill boredom at their destination places.
