Travel More to Live Longer

There have been multiple hypotheses that provide solutions to live longer. It might include a carb free diet or working out regularly. Psychology Today has published an article substantiating that our brains need a break and this is the secret to live longer.

Joe Robinson has pointed out that people who work more have a tendency to be more fatigue most of the time. He stresses on people taking a vacation at regular intervals to let their brain relax and get refreshed.

The problem is, the little time we now allot ourselves for vacations can’t do what vacations are supposed to do. “You need more time to fix burnout,” explains Joe Robinson, author of Work To Live: The Guide to Getting a Life. You have to be cut off from a stressor for a sufficient amount of time to give your mind and body a break. And you have to allow two weeks for your body to rebound.

Joe has criticized employers who don’t let their subordinates take due vacation.

Working more than 48 hours a week doubles the load of stress. It puts one on course for heart disease.
